If you missed April 23 Deaf Friendly Town Hall Meeting. It was
successful. We got some inputs from the community. This opportunity is
not over… we will have another one on May 1st. If you would like to
join to share what you believe is a Deaf Friendly Town that Rochester.
Please join and share your thoughts about Employment, Court,
Interpreters and/or any community related topics that are needed in
Deaf community.
Everyone is welcomed to come and share their thoughts on whenever a
Deaf Friendly town should be like. If you feel something that is not
listed above, please feel free to add that at the Town Hall meeting.
The May 1st Town Hall meeting will be at Rochester Recreation Club
for the Deaf, 1564 Lyell Avenue
Rochester, NY 14606. Event will start around 7 pm. Please come join
us to show what you feel should be a Deaf Friendly Town in Rochester,
NY. If your hearing and would like to share your thoughts, please feel
free to join as well.
