Hello supporters!

I hope this email finds you well. I wanted to bring to your attention a great opportunity to give back to the community and support a cause very important to me.

I know this is the end of the year. Many of the business are looking for a way to donate for a good cause. I believe donating to the Center for Disability Rights (CDR) is the way to go. They have been fighting to keep people with disabilities independent, integrated in the community and their civil rights intact. They believe that deaf people should be leading the deaf community. You can see this by their hiring of deaf staff and services being executed by deaf individuals, like myself.

If you want to donate, on December 8, 2011 the United Way is joining CDR in an event known as ROC the Day. This event will be a 24-hour online giving event to benefit non-profits in the Greater Rochester area.

On December 8th, from 12 am to 11:59 pm you will have the opportunity to log onto http://www.roctheday.org (or http://www.roctheday.org/Agency/CenterforDisabilityRights) to donate towards CDR’s mission of independence, integration and civil rights for all individuals with disabilities.

I wanted to notify you in advance about this great opportunity so you
can mark your calendar and prepare yourself to ROC the Day with many
others on December 8th!

Of course, you will receive another email from me again as the event
approaches.

Thanks again for the consideration!

Thank you,

Dean DeRusso
