We are thrilled that Governor Gregoire has decided to do the right thing.

It is clear that the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Department of Justice (DOJ) each played a significant role in securing this outcome.  Thanks to the Obama administration for its support of the disability community and the Olmstead decision!

Of course this would not have happened without the literally thousands of folks who made our voices heard through calls, emails, tweets and direct action!

The people… united… will never be defeated!!!
