The New York State Independent Living Council (NYSILC) is seeking input from people across New York State on the next 3-year State Plan for Independent Living (SPIL).  Due to Hurricane Sandy, the deadline has been expanded to November 2nd.  We have identified two crucial areas that need to be included in the next SPIL.  Please tell NYSILC Executive Director, Brad Williams, that the next SPIL must fund for Support Service Providers (SSP) for deaf-blind individuals in the Rochester area and continue funding New York’s extremely effective Statewide Systems Advocacy Network.
